- 언제나 예배를 귀하게 여겼습니다. He always cherished worship.
“여호와께 그가 그곳에서 제단을 쌓고…여호와의 이름을 부르더니…”
“There he built an altar to the Lord and called on the name of the Lord.”
아브라함은 언제나 예배 중심의 삶을 살았습니다.
Abraham always lived a life centered on worship.
여러분이 잘 아시는 대로 가나안 땅은 우상을 숭배하는 이방 나라입니다. 하나님 모르는 백성들입니다.
As you well know, Canaan was a land of idolatry, filled with people who did not know God.
그러나 아브라함의 장막 옆에는 반드시 돌 제단이 있었습니다.
Yet, next to Abraham’s tent, there was always an altar made of stone.
제단 – 오늘날 교회지요. 성막, 제단, 성전, 교회 다 같은 얘기지요. 그래서 아브라함은 언제나 하나님 앞에 예배를 드렸습니다. 아브라함의 축복의 근원은 예배입니다.
That altar—today, we would call it the church. The tabernacle, the altar, the temple, the church—they all carry the same meaning. And so, Abraham continually worshiped before God. The source of Abraham’s blessings was worship.
하나님이 제일 기뻐하시는 것, 제일 좋아하시는 것이 예배입니다. 그래서 다윗왕도 솔로몬 왕도 교회를 사랑했던 이유가 예배 때문이었습니다.
Worship is what pleases God the most, what He delights in above all else. This is why King David and King Solomon loved the house of God—because of worship.
그 예배를 통해서 그들은 부귀영화를 누렸던 것입니다. 그래서 아브라함도 언제나 예배를 귀하게 여겼습니다. 예배에 승부를 걸었습니다.
Through worship, they received wealth, honor, and blessings. Likewise, Abraham always cherished worship. He staked everything on it.
아브라함은 예배를 드리면서 영감을 얻었습니다. 예배를 드리면서 지혜를 얻었습니다. 예배를 드리면서 주의 음성을 듣고 성령의 기름 부음을 받았습니다.
Through worship, he received divine inspiration. Through worship, he gained wisdom. Through worship, he heard the voice of the Lord and was anointed by the Holy Spirit.
예배를 드리면서 하나님께 물었습니다.“하나님, 내가 어떻게 살아야 됩니까? 내가 무엇을 해야 복을 받을 수 있습니까?”예배를 드리면서 인생의 해답을 찾았습니다.
During worship, Abraham sought God and asked, “Lord, how should I live? What must I do to receive Your blessings?” Through worship, he found the answers to life’s questions.
성공의 열쇠를 찾았습니다. 그리고 예배를 드리면서 영육의 부자 되고 복의 근원이 됐습니다.
He discovered the key to success. And through worship, he became prosperous in both body and spirit, becoming the fountain of blessings.
