일찍이 예수님께서는 이 복음전파의 사명을 천사들에게 맡기지 아니하시고 우리들에게 맡겨 주셨습니다.
Rather than entrusting this task to the angels, Jesus entrusted this mission to us.
“가라사대 너희는 온 천하에 다니며 만민에게 복음을 전파하라”
Jesus said, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.”
“너는 말씀을 전파하라, 때를 얻든지 못 얻든지 항상 힘쓰라”
“Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season.”
“오직 성령이 너희에게 임하시면 너희가 권능을 받고 예루살렘과 온 유대와 사마리아와 땅끝까지 이르러 내 증인이 되리라.”
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
우리가 예수님을 전하고 복음 전파하는 일은 주님이 가장 기뻐하시는 일입니다.
God is most pleased with us when we preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.
그러므로 우리는 시간과 물질과 최선을 다해서 열심히 감당해야 합니다. 왜냐하면 그것은 예수님의 명령이기 때문입니다.
Thus, we must give our time, resources, and energy to fulfill this duty because this is what Jesus commanded us to do.
이 세상에서 사람이 남기는 가장 의미 있는 말은 사람이 죽으면서 마지막 하는 말 “유언”이라고 합니다.
They say the most meaningful word that human beings speak is their last word – their will.
평소에 부모님의 말씀에 불순종하고 속 썩이는 문제아도 부모님의 유언 만큼은 지키려고 노력합니다.
Even the children who lived a disobedient life try their best to listen to their parents’ will.
왜냐하면 유언은 그 만큼 중요한 말씀이기 때문입니다.
because they understand that a person’s last word really matters.
예수님께서 이땅에 오셔서 우리의 죄를 위하여 십자가 지시고 인류를 구속하셨습니다.
Jesus came to this earth and died on the cross for us. He took the sin of the world and died to save us.
그리고 모든 사역을 마치고 승천 하시면서 제자들에게 마지막으로 남긴 유언과도 같은 말씀이 땅 끝까지 이르러 복음을 전파하라는 것입니다.
Thereafter, he said his last word before ascending into heaven. His will for his disciples was for them to preach the gospel to the end of the earth.
이 말씀은 그저 하신 말씀이 아니고 반드시 해야하는 명령입니다. 그래서 이것을 소위 성도들에게 주어진 예수님의 “지상명령”이라고 합니다.
Jesus did not just say this for the sake of saying it. This was a command. For this reason, we call this the “Great Commission.”
그렇다면 “복음을 전파하라” 복음이 무엇입니까? 한문으로 복된 소리, 영어로는 “Good News” 뭐가 복된 소리입니까? 뭐가 굳 뉴스입니까?
So then, what is the gospel that we must preach? In English, this means “Good News.” What is the good news?
“복음”이란 예수 그리스도를 말합니다. 예수 그리스도를 믿으라는 소리가 복음입니다. “주 예수를 믿으라 그리하면 너와 네 집이 구원을 얻으리라” 복음입니다.
“Gospel” refers to Jesus Christ. To urge others to believe in Jesus Christ is the good news. “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
우리만이 아니라 천하 만민이 다 들어야 합니다. 그리고 모든 인류가 예수님을 믿어야 합니다.
This news is for everyone in this world. Everyone in this world must believe in Jesus.
누구나 예수님만 믿으면 신비한 기적이 일어 납니다. 죽었던 영혼이 살아납니다.
Anyone who believes in Jesus experiences the wonders of God. Their dead souls come to life.
