우리가 삶에서 좋은 열매를 맺기 위해서는 해야 할 일이 있다. 먼저 씨를 심어야 한다. 심지 않으면 열매는 없다. 무엇을 심어야 할까? 거두고자 하는 것을 심어야 한다. 심는 대로 거둘 것이기 때문이다. 하늘의 것인 복음 전파, 구제, 사랑, 용서의 씨를 심으면 그대로 열매를 맺는다.
그러나 열매를 맺기 위해서는 물을 주는 것이 필요하다. 그것은 심은 것을 인내심을 가지고 돌보는 것을 의미한다. 포기하지 않고 복음을 전파하고, 포기하지 않고 구제하고, 포기하지 않고 사랑하고, 포기하지 않고 용서할 수 있다면 열매는 반드시 맺힌다.
하지만 기억해야 할 것이 있다. 자라게 하시는 분은 하나님이시라는 사실이다. 그러므로 우리는 늘 기도해야 한다. 열매를 볼 때 감사해야 한다. 잊지 말고 기억하며 살자!
“나는 심었고 아볼로는 물을 주었으되 오직 하나님께서 자라나게 하셨나니 그런즉 심는 이나 물 주는 이는 아무것도 아니로되 오직 자라게 하시는 이는 하나님뿐이니라 심는 이와 물 주는 이는 한 가지이나 각각 자기가 일한 대로 자기의 상을 받으리라” (고전 3:6-8)
To bear good fruit…
To bear good fruit in our lives, there are several things we must do. First, we must plant the seeds. If we do not plant seeds, there will be no fruit. Then what should we plant?
We must plant what we wish to harvest, for we will reap what we sow. If we plant heavenly seeds by spreading the gospel, sharing with others, loving and forgiving others, we will reap good fruit.
Now, it is necessary to water what we plant. We have to patiently take care of what’s been planted. We will bear fruit if we proclaim the gospel, share with others, love, and forgive without giving up.
But there is something crucial we must remember. It is God promotes growth. Therefore, we must always pray and be thankful when we bear fruit.
Let’s never forget this!
“I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. He who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his wages according to his labor.” (1 Corinthians 3:6-8)
